Sheets A and B show fully detailed internal and external profile and plan views, superstructure, deck plans and hull lines. The aerial spread is detailed. The two major class changes are depicted, the first showing 'SIR GALAHAD' as a wire contact mine sweeper, whilst
Sheet C shows 'SIR KAY' fitted as an influence sweeper, with 'LL' sweep and acoustic 'A' bracket. All the M/S equipment and weapons systems fitted to the class are shown in detail including the twin .303 HEFAH, .303-in. Hotchkiss, 20-mm Oerlikon and the 12-pdr 12-cwt H/A L/A gun.

These very complete drawings were originally commissioned for John Piper models, now Caldercraft Kit.

Sheet E, Docking plan and armament detail. The twin 20mm Oerlikon Mark V (power operated) mounting, Oropesa float Patt 8717, and multiplane kite otter Patt. 8711 Mark I are all detailed.
(These 'As Fitted' drawings represent LARNE and her sisters, LENNOX, ROWENA and WAVE).
This group was fitted with 4 twin 20mm Oerlikon power operated mountings in place of single 20mm mountings.

An early steam powered reciprocating engined, Bangor class unit, armed with the standard 12-pdr gun, a steam powered 'Holman Projector' and a Quad. 0.5-in. Mark III mounting aft. Drawn at 1/8-in. per ft.

Sheet A shows the outboard side profile, plan view and six sections, plus data. (8 drawings).
Sheet B provides side profile plan of forecastle deck, bridge and platforms, plus layout of sweep wires, isometric view of Mark II depth charge thrower, plus views of minesweeping fittings and .303-in. Hotchkiss machine gun.
Sheet C gives detailed plan views of the upper deck, lower deck and hold, and drawings of the armament fit - Holman Projector, 3-in. gun and quad. 0.5-in. machine-gun on the 'M' Mark III mounting. (10 drawings).
Sheet D gives an enlarged view of the bridge and crows nest construction. As well as the class hull lines and sections. (9 drawings).
Sheet E provides detail of fox'l deck fittings, fox'l and sweep deck planking and deck strips, M/S winch, boats and armament (13 drawings).

Over 380 items are detailed on this set of drawings.

Side and plan view of this vessel as completed. She was to be built as a wire minesweeper, but as the steam minesweeping winch was not completed she went to sea with only the winch bed fitted. To be modified later. She also completed with the quad. 0.5-in. Mark III AA mounting aft. Her sweep deck layout and the Quad. Mark III mounting are drawn.

Proposed design for the Admiralty for a new class of MINESWEEPING SLOOP - 1926

A 'provisional' design for a 266- ft (over all), 1050- ton minesweeping patrol sloop of 1926.
Armed with a H/A 4-in. Mark IV mounting forward and an open promenade deck below the upper deck. This 'project' was found in the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich.
It shows side profile, deck plan, upper deck plan and bridge layouts with 39 items detailed.
This design formed the basis for later Sloop designs of the 1930s.
No hull lines are shown.
